Hopefully this GIF works. How do you pronounce "GIF"? This is Acolyte A.

Acolyte A, again.

Acolyte A, again.

Acolyte A setup, pretty cool stuff. Not too cool, though - just HumanIK by Autodesk.

Acolyte B setup, I started noticing messy outliners.

Acolyte C setup, I noticed that there's eye controls as children of joints in the hierarchy. HumanIK, why? :(

Acolyte D setup, I guess they're all like that. It's very annoying, but I was just starting out in the industry.

Back in 2017 I was working for Rocket Science VFX as a 3D rigger. So, here is an oldie I've stored away: the Acolyte army from Into The Badlands, season 3. On Netflix, I believe. They were used, along with Golaem rigging in Maya for crowds to make armies. These were used for mining and a couple fight scenes, I believe - kind of hard to remember, so many projects and years ago.

I'm reminiscing on all my work over the years and have decided to post about it all, one asset at a time - the ones I have, at least. This was early on in my career; I worked a lot, but didn't think of myself much and didn't make much time to grab any more significant assets for other productions I worked on while at RSVFX (The Boys, Killjoys, Murdoch Mysteries, etc...). Even for the shows I did manage to grab some assets for, I missed out on many more wicked rigs I made.
